Smashed Dates with Dark Chocolate & Sea Salt

Gently flatten pitted Medjool dates, then drizzle them with melted dark chocolate and a pinch of flaky sea salt. Chill briefly until set for a simple, naturally sweet, nutrient-rich treat.

Ingredients

  • Medjool Dates remove the pits
  • Organic Dark Chocolate
  • Flaky Sea Salt I like Jacobsen Salt Co

Instructions

  • Take Medjool dates and remove the pits. Place them on parchment paper and gently smash them flat with the bottom of a glass.
  • Melt dark chocolate. Drizzle generously over the smashed dates. Sprinkle with flaky sea salt if desired.
  • Let set in the refrigerator or freezer for 10–15 minutes.
